Ambrose is six and just started school this year, in Middle Class. He is the middle of three children being raised by their grandmother — Jonathan is eight, Angel is four.
Their grandmother supports a household of seven on crop farming alone. There is no electricity at home and water comes from a borehole. In a year with a poor harvest, school is the first thing that gets cut.
Ambrose joined the program in 2026. A sponsor means this first year of school isn’t also his last.
