In Bogoro, DR Congo, our Hope Center cares for a large community of orphans by placing them with host families rather than in institutions. Caregivers are supported so that every child has a home and a place in school, surrounded by people who know and love them.
Our women-in-development programs give widows the tools to provide for those families. Through micro-loans, grants, and training, women build businesses that turn a season of grief into a future of dignity and steady income.
Cattle-raising and other sustainability projects help the center stand on its own. These efforts provide for families now while moving the community toward lasting self-sufficiency, so that hope in Bogoro does not depend on aid alone.
